More on National Public Lands Day

HELP WANTED!
NATIONAL PUBLIC LANDS DAY

Far North Bicentennial Park/Hillside Trail Signage and Kiosk Project
Saturday, September 29th
Meet at 8:30 a.m.
North end of Hilltop Ski Area Parking Lot
Please sign in and identify yourself as a Singletrack Advocate

Bring brushing tools, shovels or battery operated drills.
Leaders: Gordon Wetzel and Brian Looney
Help install kiosk materials, cut and set posts and mount trail signs that inform users of the name of trail, winter use, a locator map, and the distances to nearest trail heads. This project effort is Phase 2 of improving trail & park safety through better trail signage and improved trailhead kiosks that the trail user coalition was successful in getting support from Alaska State Parks, the Anchorage Park Foundation and user groups.
