Kincaid Trails Progress

A quick progress report on the Kincaid North Singletrack Project.

We are over half way completed! We have finished the trails from the Raspberry Trailhead to the World Cup Start. There are a few super fun and challenging one-way sections. These sections have been signed accordingly.

The rain has not delayed our efforts. However, the saturated soils have made the trail surface very soft and prone to trenching. Please refrain from riding the new sections until the rain stops and the ground hardens. The ruts we make today will be with us for a long time. Not to mention, a lot of volunteers have invested hard labor and sore muscles to make the trails a reality.

The crew packs the newly-shaped tread.

Please wait!

Monday and Wednesday evening volunteer work sessions will continue until the project is finished. We will meet at the World Cup Start (first right after you go under the bridge on Raspberry Road) at 6:00 p.m. until further notice. Come on out! Trail work is tons of fun and we get to talk a lot about bikes! Don’t forget to like us on Facebook to receive the latest news and updates.

See you at an upcoming work party!
